[Ans] Yes, this feature makes a big difference and is a feature i always use and it can bring that extra bit out of your tactic and maybe win that extra trophy for you. The main purpose is to position to players in the correct places and always having men behind the ball when defending and plenty of players foward when attacking, and obviously, having the players all in excellent positions, which could be the difference between your striker getting 30 goals a season instead of the 20 he might have got had you not tinkered with it. [Ans]. In the lower divisions, it is not wise to play overly complicated tactics as your players just wont be good enough. The best tactic to play is just a basic 442. This should be with mixed or direct passing and no pressing as your players wont be good enough for short passing and wont have the fitness levels to press the opponents. The team instructions should also be minimal and very basic like just having your defenders on zonal marking. But it also depends on your players as if you have 2 central defenders good at marking obviously put them on man marking, but the best way to play in the lower league is just with a basic tactic and basic instructions.
[3]. Does the computer ever work out your tactic and if so what should i do when it works out mine?
[Ans]. Yes, the computer does work out some tactics, how long until the computer does is varies from tactic to tactic and game to game. Using the with/without ball feature more, can give you ana dvantage and make your tactic harder to crack. If the computer does 'crack' your tactic, the only thing to do is to design another one or maybe just change your team instructions of your current tactic.
[4]. I have some of the best defenders in the game but still i leak goals, i am scoring freely but letting them in left right and centre, what formation is best to play to keep the goals going in but also have a good defence?
[Ans]. 3412 is a tactic that scores goals for fun and also does very well defensively. Straight 3 man defence with the middle man pushed up to a DMC position, 2 CM and one amc with wingers with one arrow foward and two strikers. It is very efficient attacking wise with strikers scoring freely but also the midfielders contributing a lot. At the back, it has the DMC to stifle the attacks and the 2 central defenders man marking the attackers.
[5]. What is the best sort of player to make a playmaker?
[Ans]. Always a midfielder who must be a player with high creativity, positioning and passing mainly, but overall a player with high stats who is obviously a star player in your team. It does not have to be a attacking player either as just a plain MC or DMC works a treat also.
