| I actually used the first version of this site to come out to Peter and Peter, my instructors. For our finally project we had to design a site of any kind and I decided to go with the personal one. I wasn't sure if I actually wanted to use the site and have them know I'm a lesbian, but I didn't have any other ideas for what to do and really I didn't care if they knew or not. So I did up the site and explained a few things in an email to them but didn't actually say that I was gay, I left that for the site to do. A few weeks later Peter M. talked to me about the site and said it looked good - compared to this version it sucked! - and then said congratulations and I was brave. It was odd and nice at the same time to be called brave for wanting to be openly les. Just two weeks ago I talked to Peter E. while my mom was right there, nothing was said about the site or my sexuality of course. They weren't on my list of people to be out to, but it's always nice to know that people know, no matter who they are. |
