Now solder one end of the resistor wires to the bottom brown (cut end) servo wire. It does not matter which end of the resistor servo wire you solder.

Hold the resistor wire up against the bottom
brown (cut end) servo wire.
Now solder the ends together with your soldering iron. Touch the wires together, touch with soldering iron and the wires will solder together.
Soldered connection.
Now slide the heat shrink tubing over the soldered connection.
You can use the side of the solder iron or a hair dryer to shink the tubing over the soldered connection.
follow the same procedure for the bottom orange (cut end) servo wire.
Here is a pic of the 2 resistor wires attached to the bottom brown and orange cut servo wires. You are now ready to solder the other ends to the upper brown and orange cut servo wires.
Follow the same soldering procedures used for the lower wires for the upper wires.

First slide a piece of heat shrink tubing over each of the  resistor wires.

Solder the other end of the resistor wire connected to the bottom
brown servo wire to the top brown servo wire. Slide the heat shrink tubing over the soldered connection. Use the soldering iron or a hairdryer to shrink the tubing around the soldered connection.

Solder the other end of the resistor wire connected to the bottom
orange servo wire to the top orange servo wire. Slide the heat shrink tubing over the soldered connection. Use the soldering iron or a hairdryer to shrink the tubing around the soldered connection.
Before reassembling your body. I would suggest putting the batteries in and test your steering. Make sure your wheels turn to left and right.
Now remove the batteries and reassemble your car.

You can either leave the resistor wires out or tuck them behind your motor, underneath the motor connector.
