TIGHT TURNS SERVO STEERING MOD
OVERVIEW
The Servo Steering Mod will greatly increase your cars manueverability and reduce the cars turning radius. The resistored wires alters the electical input to the steering servo allowing it to rotate both left and right to a greater degree. I have tested this on most of the xmods styles (Supra, Civic, Skyline, RSX, 350z, 65 & 04 Mustang, & Camaro) with extremely good results on the steering ability. Has not been tested with the awd kit. Until tested it is considered not recommended with awd. UPDATE: In most cases the tight turns can be used with AWD. In some cases you may find that the servo arm or steering plate  is making contact with the front awd gear. You will hear a clicking sound when turning. This can be fixed by filing alittle off the servo arm or steering plate where contact is being made.

This mod is not unique to xmods. Using inline resistor mod have been utilized by just about all forms of rc's from cars to airplanes and even in robotics to alter a stock servo to meet the users rotational needs.

If you look at the picture below you will see the difference this mod makes to your cars turning ability.
If you look at the BEFORE picture you will see the the servo arm does not rotate to its full capability.

Now look at the AFTER picture. You can see the servo arm now is able to rotate to its maximum capability.

This may not look like much but has a huge increase on your cars turning performance.

In competitive racing this will give a huge advantage on the course.
THE KIT
The kit includes:
2 properly resistored wires with protective covering. The resistored wires are pre-tinned and ready to be installed. (see INSTALLATION GUIDE BELOW)

Pre-cut heat shrink tubing to reinforce and protect the soldered connections.

Solder
TOOLS
Tools or supplies you will need:
Soldering Iron

Small scissors or something to clip small wires. Even nail clippers will work.

Something to strip the insulation off the wire. I used a exacto knife and my finger nails. A razor blade can also be used.

1 or 2 tweezers. The tweezers will aid in working in small space and grasping small wires.
SKILL LEVEL
If I were to rate the skill level at installing this mod I would put it at about a 3 out of 10 (10 being the hardest). The entire installation process takes about 30-60 minutes to install depending on your abilities.

The mod isn't very hard to install. The hardest part in my opinion is stripping the insulation off the cut servo wires due to the small work area. The soldering portion of it in my opinion is very simple considering all you are really doing is touching wire to wire and the using the soldering iron to solder them together. You will see when you review the Installation Guide.
TIPS
Always remove the batteries before working on your car.

Review the Online Installation Guide  before starting  the installation.

Never rush, work slowly.
