reduces pain


ANTAGONIST :
oppose action of other medicines


ANTHELMINTIC :
(see parasiticide)


ANTACID :
an agent that nuetralizes acidity, especially in the stomach and duodenum


ANTI-BACTERIAL :
destroys or stops the the growth of bacteria
