Author’s note: Okay, sorry for the wait. I wasn’t home for a while then I was sick and then my uncle died…so anyways heres a new chapter. Sadie informed Julie and Connie that she decided to go to the Dance. They were excited and decided to go shopping Thrusday.

Julie had broke-up with Scooter Tuesday night, they had ended up going out alone.
“Scooter,oh god, I don’t know how to say this.” Julie started.
“What is it?”
“Whatever I say please don’t get mad. Okay?”
“Okay.”Scooter nodded.
“I only like you as a…as a friend. Nothing more. Please don’t be mad.”
“Oh. I’m not mad. Actually, I was going to tell you the same thing. I’m happy it’s a mutaul thing.”
“Yea, me too.” Julie agreed.
“That’s why I cancelled the double date. You’re not hurt are you.?”
“Nope. I like just being friends.” Julie smiled.
“Alright, lets go get some food.”

Author’s note: Okay, first that mucst have been pretty gay, but I didn’t know how to break them up. 2nd they were supposed to get pizza but then I realized that’s all these people eat…just something I thought I would say. Okay, I’ll shut up now…

Jumping to Thrusday> > > > > >
After practice Julie and Connie picked up Sadie to go shopping.
Eden Hall’s dances were semi-formal and held at a hall across the football field.
The 3 girls went to the local mall where they shopped, ate, and generally had a good time. They went to a number of stores before finding the perfect outfit.
((BTW,semi-formal means guys have to wear a nice shirt with a tie and nice pants, like khakis,NO JEANS. Girls have to wear a skirt or dress with a nice shirt. Also, no sneaker.))
For Sadie, the perfect outfil was a baby-blue spaghetti strappped tank top with a white short-sleeve button down shirt, without the buttons, buttoned. And a knee-length denim skirt with a slit in the front, and 1½ inch platform nave blue thong sandels.(If you have ever been to Aeropostale you probalby no what I’m talking about.)
For Julie, it was a black tube dress and black sandels like Sadie’s.
And, for Connie, it was a lavender(light purple)spaghetti strapped tank top with a knee-length khaki skirt with a red-embroided rose in the front, bottom right corner and white sandels like Sadie and Julie’s.
They all bought a jewelery set consisting of earrings, a necklace, a bracelet, and an anklet. (Don’t ask me what time of the year it is because I have no idea.)

They had decided to meet after school, 3:00, 4 hours before the dance which was at 7:00,at Julie and Connie’s dorm. They would do each others hair and make-up. And their dates would meet them at their dorm at 6. Sadie was going with Guy, Julie with Adam(We’re going to imagine that he asked her because I don’t feel like writing it.),and Connie with Chris, a varsity hockey player. Then they would walk actoss the football field to the hall with the rest of the Ducks and their dates.

Friday
“Hey Sadie.” Guy met up with Sadie on her way to lunch.
“Hey Guy.” Sadie smiled.
“Excited about tonight?”
“Yea.” Sadie nodded. “I haven’t been to a dance since the 7th grade.”
“Wow! Well, just to let you know, I’m a bad dance, especially at slow dances.”Guy warned.
“Well, I’ve never slow danced before, but we don’t have to.” Sadie admitted.
“Oh, no. I want to. I’ll teach you! It’s really not that hard.” Guy smiled.
“Okay, I can’t wait.” Sadie said as she leaned into Guy as they walked into the cafeteria.
Guy smiled as they made their way to the Ducks’ table whee Saide sat with the girls and Guy on the other side of the table.
“See you at 6, okay.”
Sadie smiled and nodded.

After school
“Hey Julie.” Sadie ran up behind Julie.
“Hey.”
“I’ll be at your dorm in like 20 minutes. I just have to get all my stuff.”
“Okay, I’ll walk with you, your dorm is just down the hall from mine. I’ve wanted to see it. Is that alright with you?”
Sadie nodded and they found Connie then to Julie and Connie’s dorm.

“Wow! We look good!”Connie lauged after they had done their hair and make-up.
Connie wore her hair in a high pony tail with random pieces of curled and a piece of hair curled on both sides of her face. He make-up consisted of shades of pink and lavender.
Julie wore her hair down with random pieces in small braids with small fake flowers in the braids. Her make-up was shades of blue besides her bluw and lipstick wich were both light, barely noticable, pinks.
Sadie wore her hair in two french braids down her head with small fack flowers in the braids, like Julie’s hair. Her make-up was also identical to Julie’s with shades of blue besides bluw and lipstick.
Julie laughed as she looked over at the clock, “Wow, the guys are going to be here soon. It’s 5:50.”

Guy and Adam got ready together. They were dressed alike. A short sleeve button down shirt with a tie, khakis,and shoes. The onle exception was Guy’s shirt was light blue and white checkered(small squares) with a blue tie and Adam’s shirt was plainly black and a black tie, both tired to match their dates a little.
“You look nervous.” Guy commented.
“Yea. I sort of am. Julie just broke- up with Scooter.”
“It’ll be fine. Scooter has a date too.”
“Yea, I guess. You look a little nervous yourself.”
“Yea, I sort of am, too. Sadie hasn’t been to a dance since the 7th grade. And she’s never dance with anyone before.”
“Oh. Don’t worry. You’re a great dancer. It’ll be good that someone nice like you is her first, it’ll probably be easier, too.” Adam said adjusting his tie.
“Yea…I guess you’re probably right. Ready to go?”
“Yup!” Adam said handed Guy his jacket.

There was a knock on the girls’ door. All 3 guys had been their around the same time.
Julie ran to open the door. “Hey guys, we’ll be out in a secone. Stay there.”
“Okay.” Guy,Adam, and Chris said in unison.
Julie and Connie grabbed their coats and walked out. The guys looked astonished.
“Wow!You girls look great.” Chris said. He was wearing a white shirt to match Connie a little, black tie and khakis.
“Thank you.” Sadie, Julie, and Connie smiled.
“You don’t look so bad yourself.” Connie continuted. “Oh, by the way, this is Sadie Parker.”
“Hi, do I know you?”Chris asked.
“No!” Sadie jumped. “Atleast I don’t think you do.”
“Whatever.”Chris shrugged and went back to Connie.
Sadie look at the ground. Guy took her and, and then she looked up and he smiles his trademark smile.
“Ready to meet up with the team?” Adam asked Julie as they,also, held hand.
“Mm-hmm.” She said as they started to walk to the football field.

“Oh, look at the cute couples!” Averman shouted as the 3 couples met up with the team and their dates.
“Shut up, Averman!” They yelled in unison.
The Ducks and their dates walked through the football field and they finally reached the hall.
