Practice went as normal, except Guy had to do no extra laps.
Guy went to Sadie’s dorm to pick her up.
“Sadie?” Guy said as he knocked on the door.
“Come in. I’ll be ready in a second.” Sadie called.
Guy opened the door as Sadie finished putting on her shoes. She was wearing a knee length khaki skirt with a longsleeve baseball shirt with navy sleeves.(Don’t ask why I always tell you what she’s wearing…it’s just what I seem to do.) Guy just smiled as he looked at her.
“Okay, I’m ready. Where are we going?” Sadie asked as the left her dorm.
“Aloha Pizza. We don’t have to get pizza, though.”
“Okay, cool.”

When Sadie and Guy got there they saw Varsity Players eating there with Kevin.
“We can go somewhere else.” Guy suggested.
“No. I live in this country, too. I have the same right to be there as them.” Sadie said confidently. “I think.” She looked up at Guy and bit her lip starting to feel unsure about what she just said.
“Yes, you do.” Guy laughed and playfully pushed her through the door. They found a table on the oppisite side from the Varsity, they didn’t even notice Sadie. The waitress came and took their order.
Guy: Cheeseburger, well done, with fries and a coke.
Sadie: A garden salad, with Italian dressing on the side, and a water.(That’s something I would order, theres a way she reflects me just to let you know…boy I need to get more sleep.)
“So, what do you want to talk about?” Guy asked sincerely.
“About what I told you last night.” She started. “You are only in high school, you shouldn’t have to deal with my problems.”
She would have continued but Guy cut her off. “No, Sadie. To tell you the truth, I’ve always wanted a friend to feel protective over, sorta like a younger sibling. Not that I see you that way, I see you as a friend, who I care about a lot. Sure, there’s the Ducks, but we all look out for each toher, which I like.” Guy smiled. “But having my own friend who shares a really big secret with me and only me, makes me feel special and like it’s my job to protect you.”
“Aww, Guy that’s sweet. Thank you so much. I’ve never really had someone feel as if they needed to protect me. But if you ever want out, just let me know.”
“Okay. Sadie, can I ask you something?”
“Yea, sure Guy.” Sadie said as she started to eat her salad.
“Um, there’s this dance on Friday night, and uh, I was just wondering if you wanted to go with me, just as friends.”
“Oh. I don’t know. I mean,, there are going to be Varsity hockey players and …”
Guy cut Sadie off. “I promise I won’t let anything happen to you. Heck, I’ll be extra protective just for you.” Guy laughed. “I want you to go out and have some fun.”
Sadie smiled. “I guess I’ll go,but only because it’s you.”
Guy and Sadie had both finished their meals.
“You ready to go? The Hockey players are gone just to let you know.” Guy smiled.
“Yea, I can’t wait to wash this make-up off.” Sadie laughed. “I know it hides my bruises but this stuff is a pain in my ass.”
