***Author’s Note***
I split this chapter into parts, because, well, I don’t even know. Probably because I didn’t want to rush into anything(God, this sounds like a relationship gone bad!:-D). In the first part I just wanted all the Ducks to say something and I wanted to introduce some plots and elements that will be brought up throughout the story.

Dwayne was sitting in Chemistry when he looked back at Alyssa Indiga. Dwayne had liked Alyssa ever since he saw her baby blue eyes. She was shorter than him, with brown hair. They were Lab partners once…she said that he was funny and thought he looked cute in his cowboy hat. She called him ‘Cowboy’ and her smile would make Dwayne blush. He looked back again and gave her a smile.
‘I’m going to ask her out, soon.’he thought to himself.

Guy was sitting in English when he turned around to check what time it was. He saw Sadie Parker,who sat behind him,taking notes and looking like she was about to cry. To her left was Kevin Hectora making fun of her and laughing. Sadie was about 5’4 with hazel eyes and dirty blonde hair. She wasn’t fat or ugly and shewas unbelivabley nice and polite. Guy couldn’t figure out why anyone would make fun of her or why she looked so sad or like she was about to cry. They had talked a few times and Guy thought of her as a friend. About 5 minutes later he looked back at the clock,then to Sadie. A tear rolled down her cheek and only Guy and Kevin noticed, but that didn’t stop Kevin from making fun of her.
‘Man, I gotta talk to her, see what the hell is up!’Guy thought.

As for Julie, she started to write at note to Russ during a World Civ. Movie.
It started like this:
‘Hey Russ!
I really have to talk to you about what I said before. I have to tell you a lot! We haven’t talked to each-
other lately.’
And it continued.

Connie and Adam were also in their World Civilization class. Connie sat next to Adam in the back row. She used the piece of paper that she was supposed to be using to talk notes on the movie and start writing a not to Adam.
‘Hey Banks,what did you want to ask me before?’ She wrote then handed it to him.
‘Um…I’ll ell you later. Come to hockey practice early.’He wrote nevously.
‘Okay, no problem.’She handed him back the note and continued to watch the movie.

Most people wouldn’t believe that Dean Portman would fall for a girl, but he did. He was in English, not the same class as Guy, when he first say her, Lana Fackil. She was tall, not that much shorter than Dean. She had shoulder length red hear and brown eyes. Portman had a crush on her ever since he heard Metallica coming from her headphones. She was pretty and didn’t dress like a punk and Portman liked that.
“Damn, she’s fine!”he mumbled to himself.

Charlie and Linda were in Study Hall fooling around. Charlie was poking at her arm and she would gigle and poke him back.
“Has anyone ever told you have beautiful you are?”
“Charlie!”
“No, I’m serious Linda, you are beautiful, inside and out. I’m so happy I met you.”
“Aww…Charlie---“
“You people…”Goldberg interupted as he was eating a donut.
“…disgust me!”he finished.
“Yea, stop getting all mushy! Man Conway, you’ve gone soft!”Averman piped in.
“Yea…you’re so …. Ew!”Lauged Fulton.
“Don’t listen to them Charlie, I think you’re really sweet.”Linda smiled.
“I think you’re really sweet.”mocked Ken in a high pitched voice.
Charlie glared.
“Stop picking on Conway!”Luis said holding Becky’s hand.(I don’t know the cheerleaders name. But it was the one he was making out with at the end of D3)
“Ugh!”Goldberg,Averman,Ken, and Fulton groaned.
And just then the bell rang for lunch and then all ran off.(This wasn’t the first class of the day, obviously, I just want to keep things moving.

Guy decided to talk to Sadie on the way to lunch. He turned around:
“Hey Sadie!”
“Oh…uh hi Guy.”She said walking off.
“So, how are you?I haven’t talked to you in a while.”
“Oh, I’m just fine, how are you?”She said hoping he didn’t see anything in class. And just then, SMACK!,she walked into the door frame.Her eyes were still a little watery and she couldn’t see clearly.
“Oh, I’m fi—Holy shit!Are you okay?”
“Oh I’m fine, don’t worry about me!”She said wiping her eyes.
“Are you sure you’re okay?”Guy asked concerned. “Do you want to go to the nurse or something?”
“Guy, I’m fine!” she snapped. “I don’t know why you’re talking to me! What is the some kind of prank or something?” with that she ran off.
“But Sadie…”Guy yelled, but she already turned at corner and Guy wasn’t sure what to do.

At lunch Guy looked for Sadie, but couldn’t find her. They bother had Study Hall next so he decided to write her a not. He turned into the table’s conversation…something about Bunjee Jumping…

During Study Hall Guy didn’t see Sadie, either. So he figured she went to the nurse and she should probably write the note.
Sadie-
I don’t know what you thought today when I was takling to you.
But I saw you in English, when Kevin was making fun of you and
I thought I saw you starting to cry. I want you to know that you can
talk to me. I am a very caring person who likes to kno what is going
on.
So, write back.

At the end of the school day Guy found Sadie and gave her the note. And he noticed that Sadie had a bruise on her right cheek bone.
“Whoa!What happened?”Guy asked as he handed her the note.
“Oh,I just fell, no big deal!What’s this?”
Guy ignored the question. “No big deal…look at that thing…its HUGE! Did you go see the nurse?”
“No, but don’t worry it’s no big deal!”
“C’mon lets go see her now…That bruise needs to be looked at.”
“It’s being looked at right now, by you. And if you want it to be looked at more, tomorrow during lunch I will go to every table and have them look at it!Guy I’m fine, and since when do you care?”
“Just read the note, but I got to go, hockey practice…,but I’ll see you around.”Guy grinned.
“I’m sure you will…”Sadie mumbled as he ran off.
“Where are you going?” yelled Kevin with Cole, a big varsity player, behind him.
“To my dorm.”She said quietly.
“Really?”the two boys questioned.
“Yes, and please just leave me alone!”Sadie said and ran off.
But from around the corner came a group of varsity hockey players. The cornered her up against the lockers, where they teased her.
“You’re a nothing.”
“You don’t belong on this Earth!”
“You should be lucky we don’t kill you!”Kevin finished.
Sadie got a few new bruises from being rammed up into the locers. She sat on the floor crying as they all left, the majority of them kicked her.
It had been about 10 minutes after they left. She had finally got up and slowly tried to walk to her dorm, as Guy came around the corner, not realizing what had happened.
“Sadie, I forgot to ask you if you wanted to go get something to eat after practice?”Guy yelled running behind her. Then he saw her, tears rolling down her cheeks, her clenching her stomach, and gasping for air.
“Oh my god! What the hell happened?!”he finally said.
He helped her get to her dorm, but nothing was said. When they finally got there Guy looked at hims watch.
“Well I’m going to be late for practice if I don’t leave, but stay here and I’ll be back.”he said. Then he gave her ‘his’ smile and ran off.
