Author’s Note:Okay, so I’m taking a small break from ‘One Messed Up World,’ I’m working on a new chapter but it’s pretty strange so I’m just going to work on something else for about a week, and then I’ll do both. This fic sorta came from a dream and that’s why I’m using my name, cause I was the girl it the dream. Um, that’s pretty much it, please review. Enjoy!

Disclaimer:I don’t own the Ducks or any of it’s characters Disney does. I own all other charecters unless noted other wise.

The Germaines

The Germaine’s lived in a small house, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. Claire Germaine and her 2 kids, Guy,10, and Samantha,5, lived there. Claire’s ex-husband, Riley Germaine, and herself decided to get a divoirce 1 year after their daughter was born. They decided she could have full custody of the kids and he left, they never heard from him again.

Guy and Samantha looked a lot alike, dirty blonde hair, big hazel eyes, and a gorgeous smile. They were also inseperable. Not only did the two look alike, the acted alike. Shy,polite, quiet. After the divoirce, Claire had a full time job at a resturant. Guy had practically raised Samantha, he protected her and never left her alone, practically. The only time she was without him was when Guy had school and she was left with a babysitter.

Guy brought Samantha to hockey practice everyday. All the District 5 team knew her and looked out for her, just like Guy. But at first they couldn’t figure out wh he always brought her with him, everywhere. He was 10, she was 5. He explained to the team that he didn’t know why, but he felt it was his job to protect her at all times. Still, some of the team with younger siblings still couldn’t understand, their siblings drove them crazy. Connie Moreau, the only girl on the team at the time, thought it was real sweet, that’s when Guy and her first got together. And soon the rest of the District 5 team thought of Samantha as a sister, that they didn’t mind having around.

The only difference between Guy and Samantha, besides aga and gender, was Samantha was more shy and had a hard time getting to know and trust people. But as long as Guy was close by she knew she was safe.

“Ready?” Guy asked Sadie as he finished getting his things for hockey practice.

“Yea.”

They walked down to the skating pond, Guy holding Samantha’s hand. When they got there they both sat on a bench, Guy to put on his skates and Samantha just sat there watching the other kids skate around. She enjoyed watching the team practice. She could sit there all day and watch them, especially Guy, practice. They were like her family. Some of the even gave her cute nicknames.

She was:

 Jesse’s home girl.

 Goldberg’s cream cheese.(Because he’s from Philidelphia.)

Averman’s Sammy-miester.(Which Guy hit hiim every time, he thought it sounded like a dog.)

Peter’s shortcake.(He finally found someone shorter than himself, no that much shorter, but still shorter.)

And

Charlie’s poptart- One thing he enjoyed seeing on early mornings.

But most of all, she was District 5’s lucky charm, especially Guy’s. Grant it, they never won a game, but they all always scored a goal and they could say they were the only team with an actual lucky charm.
