Will God Send You The Right Person to be Your Spouse?
- This essay examines the questions: Can you trust God to send you the right person? Has God chosen someone just for you?
The short of it? Yes, yes He has. So feel free to tune out the "crabby appletons" and grouches who've been divorced and are thus bitter little people and who write their angry, cynical little articles about how There's No Hope.
Also feel free to tune out the (usually well-meaning) Christian wacko's who tell you that you're placing "too much faith" in God, and that you need to get off your duff and "do something" to find Mr. (or Ms.) Right. You'd think these people have never read how God honors faith in Him and His promises!
Should Christians Use Dating/Relationship Services Such as eHarmony or Equally Yoked?
- Short answer? I know you're lonely, but...
Unless you've prayed about it and feel God has "okayed" it, stay the heck away from dating services, even the "nicer" more "quality" ones such as "eHarmony." They're a waste of time and money, in my view.
The essay also contains details about some of my personal experiences with such online dating services. Read all about "Randy Andy" and other fun people I've come across at relationship sites.
- just because they're secular works that contain some unbiblical concepts doesn't mean that they're totally without value!
Critiques of / Contradictions in Articles on Professional Christian Sites Regarding Singleness
- it's lean pickings on the web for Christian singles.
Annoyingly, most everything out there that turns up in web searches for "Christian Singles" ends up being over-priced dating services / sites. What does turn up sometimes contains disappointing material, or else contains contradictions.
