Facing The Past

Whitefalls Weyr was actually started in 1999 by yours truly. I began the project as my dream Weyr - I had played in several online Pern 'games' and like any hard-core Player, I wanted my own. So I got stuck in and started it all, played Senior Weyrwoman Ealaia and her Gold Liath and everything. But by the end of my sophomore year, I was beginning to realize that I wasn't going to have enough time to give WFW the attention and leadership it needed. In fact, I made the decision to leave altogether, and left it in the capable hands of my second-in-command, Cindy, who kept it alive all this time. At the end of this past April, I decided that, especially since I wasn't the captain of the WFW enterprise anymore, I had the time to at least be a part of it and savour once again what I had left behind. Cindy welcomed me back heartily, and although I'm afraid Eala and Liath must stay in the North, all my characters are about to be brought back to ICdom. Those who say you can never go home again ... Are sometimes wrong.
