Some old, familiar faces ...

F'lentin - The leader of the Searchwing. F'lentin is starting to grey, but his Turns don't show in his eyes or his body. His dragon is the large brown Gallanth, one of the biggest browns in the Weyr. He is good at fighting Thread, but even better at Search - he has Searched 3 of the last 6 Goldriders that Impressed at Whitefalls. Half ain't bad!
Killa - A sweet, shy (kind of), and very -tiny- girl, she originally hails from Whitefalls Hold. At first she wanted to become a breeder of flits (of which she was enamored) or a beastcrafter, but then she was Searched and Impressed! She and green Donegalth have run rampant ever since. She is a wingrider in the Duskstars, and Done has become a mighty eater of Thread! (Or so she says.)
C'linn - Col hails originally from Benden Weyr. Something of a professional Candidate there, before which he was an Apprentice Harper, Colinn was Searched on a trip visiting his uncle at Ierne Hold. Up at Whitefalls Weyr, Col managed to do what he could not all those times at Benden and Impressed blue Sylth. Since then, Sylth showed talent as a Searchdragon, and have joined the Searchwing.
Seanachai - Seana is a Journeywoman Harper who is originally from the Weyr. She left WFW behind to go to the Harper Hall at Ierne Hold to learn to be a Harper. When the old Weyrharper died and a new one was appointed, Seana, who knew the Weyr and the deceased Harper well, returned to the Weyr to be an Assistant to the new Weyrharper ... And to find out exactly what he was like. Since then, she enjoyed having a relationship with the Weyrsinger, and then became a Master and the Weyrharper in her own right! Lew is gone, but she still stays around and does her duty, conducting Harper affairs in the Weyr. She is a cousin to L'iam, and to Narilia.
L'iam - L'iam, once Liam (didn't want to be L'am or L'm), was a Journeyman Harper, is cousin to Seana, and studied alongside her at Harper Hall. When she returned to WFW, he accompanied her and was accidentally Searched, even though he was at the age limit for candidates. Even so, he managed to Impress Bronze Oberoth. After training, he was shunted to several wings, began to show leadership abilities, and was sent to a Northern Weyr for half a Turn's experience elsewhere. Now he has returned to Whitefalls, fallen in love with Trinity (or rather, rekindled old embers) and they have had a little girl named Thera. Since Oberoth flew Trin's gold Shannoth, Li's been the Weyrsecond, and when the Weyrleader became ill, he had to step in. Now Trinity is considering transfer, and L'iam has to decide whether to stay in the Weyr he loves, or stay with the woman and child he loves.
Lurka - Born and bred at Whitefalls Hold, Lurka was an apprentice weaver when she was Searched. She stood and impressed green Kiraventh, a small beauty, and they have become very happy working their tails off in the Earth Shakers. Soon, though, they'll graduate, and become real riders!
Anila - Anila was born at Dinin Hold Dolphinhall, the daughter of two prominent Dolphineers. Happy to be a child and an older sister, Anila has been pulling her heels as her parents begin to pressure her to decide on a vocation. However, her decision was basically made for her when she was Searched out of the blue on her brother's birthday. She became a Candidate, and stood for several clutches before she befriended Hotaru, who became her very close friend. They both waited breathlessly for their turns on Whitefalls' sands, when Ani's eyes met those of a beautiful green. She impressed Haldith, became a WinterStorm, and she and Haldith are best friends with Hotaru and her golden Zerath.
E'lat - Eilat has wanted to be a cook for as long as he can remember. Being the Master's Journeyman to one of the most prestigious Master Cooks on Ierne Isle has been a dream come true, and the young man could hardly believe there would be anything else he could possibly want in life. But that was before he was suddenly Searched to stand for a clutch at Whitefalls Weyr. He stood several times before he finally Impressed blue Belith. Unfortunately, the little blue began his life by accidentally maiming and/or killing a candidate to get to his new lifemate, and it haunts E'lat. However, he's starting to get over it and make friends ...
