Intro:
Sonic Pinball Party is a straight up pinball game featuring Sonic Team characters from Samba De Amigo, NiGHTS into Dreams..., and of course Sonic the Hedgehog. It also features cameos from Chu Chu Rocket!, Burning Rangers and Phantasy Star Online.

Story:
Entering a pinball tournament at Casinopolis, Sonic soon finds his friends acting very strangely. It soon turns out that they have gotten under the mind control of the villiainous Eggman! Sonic has to win the tournament to get his friends back to normal, not to mention beating Eggman... at pinball.

The Game:
The game is split up into four main modes; Arcade, Story, Party and Casinopolis. In Arcade mode you challenge either the Sonic or NiGHTS pinball tables, and once you've unlocked it, the Samba De Amigo table. In Story, you make your way through a pinball tournament as Sonic, beating characters under several conditions. Party is a two to four player multiplayer mode, where you play against friends via GBA link cables. Finally, there's Casinopolis. In this mode, you play mini games that you unlock in the Story mode for rings.

There's also a Tiny Chao Garden. It is the same as the ones found in Sonic Advance and Sonic Advance 2, but with different mini games. You can buy your Chao food and toys with rings you win from the Arcade, Story and Casinopolis modes.
