This is an underground Dump Truck. It came from Wheal Jane and as used extensively before the mine closed. This machine had to be built and tested before going underground at South Crofty. To take it underground, it was necessary to dis-assemble the machine , take it down piece by piece and the reassemble it again. However after all these operations were carried out, the dump truck was never used.

Two new- 2nd hand Air Compressors fitted into the Compressor House at Robinsons side of the mine.

A ‘Tamrock’ drilling rig. Some were twin boom and others were single boom.

One of the many Transformers that were removed from the mine and sold off.

A 3000 volt transformer ready for being lifted to surface. Once these were removed, then it would be impossible to run anything underground.
