The Tantrums were an up and down team for most of last season. Luckily for GM Aaron Kauffman, Tempe got hot at the right time and rode that streak into claiming the final playoff spot. Once there, they surprised No. 1 seed Alvada in a huge first round upset. The Tantrums went on to lose the next game against eventual champion Louisville.

The season, the Tantrums are much improved. A well-balanced attack of Daunte Culpepper, Chad Johnson and Steve Smith combine with young talents RB Kevin Jones, RB Ronnie Brown, WR Braylon Edwards and RB J J Arrington. The Tantrum have the best stock of young talent in the league. If they perform, Tempe could go a long way in the playoffs this season.
