Division Finish: 6th   Postseason Seed: No. 4

The CDFL's First Team started off as one of the teams to beat in 2004. North Coast began the season with an impressive 5-1 record. But then they limped into the playoffs winning only 3 of the final 8 games. It was enough for the Shakers to make the playoffs and take the number 4 seed. Unfortunately for GM Chris Komandt, the first opponent was eventual champion Louisville.

Faced with a second half disaster, GM Komandt cleaned house. The entire coaching staff was fired after a drunken night of partying on the Flats, the GM returned home - he needed to turn the GM duties over to someone of similar mind and hire a talented coach. While watching TV, drinking some Rolling Rock and eating bad tuna, he settled on Simpson's CEO Burns. The tuna inspired a vision of King Neptune. The trio put together a foundation for this season that will put up the points.

Now called the Great Lakes Shakers, returning Captain Tim Dwight showed off the new look uni's before the draft. Afterward, the team had a new look as well. Gone is long time QB Donovan McNabb. Instead the Shakers turn to resurrected Drew Brees and potential star Joey Harrington. The star of the team will be WR Randy Moss and RB Deuce McAllister. The lineup is solid up and down from WR Boldin, WR McCardell to RB Bennette and RB Dunn. This team looks to return to the post season and play in the game bearing the owner's name: Shaker Bowl VI!
