STUDENT VISAS - GUIDELINES

You must present the following to the consular section at the time you apply for a student visa:

1. Form I - 20 or IAP - 66.
2. Visa application form and USEFI survey form. Available at the consulate's main gate)
3. One passport size photograph.
4. A valid passport.
5. Application processing fee, a demand draft in Indian rupees equivalent to $45* drawn in favor of American consulate general, Chennai
6. Visa fee, 4 demand drafts in Indian rupees equivalent to $25* each drawn in favor of American consulate general, Chennai.
7. Test score reports. (original)
8. Latest degree/mark sheets.
9. Evidence of financial support.

If financial assistance has been provided by the university, please enclose letter from the university to that effect.
