Academic Counseling
Students are encouraged to talk with the school counselor, teachers, and principal in order to learn about the curriculum, course offerings, graduation requirements, and differences between graduation requirements for the regular high school program, the advance program, and the advacned program with honors. All students in grades 7-12 and their parents shall be notified annually about the recommended courses for students preparing to attend college, university, or training school or pursuing some other advanced education should work closely with their counselor so that they may take the high school courses that will best prepare them for further work. The counselor can also provide information about entrance requirements required by many colleges and universities, as well as information about financial aid and housing.
