Final entry for the month & final week for my parents to come back from Hong Kong.  As a result, big housecleaning before they come back. Before that happens, I've uploaded some complete anime reviews.  I've done all the old anime reviews & moved to the collectables section now.  I want to upload some new collectable reviews even though I don't have most of the items opened yet.

Speaking of items, I got my Nendoroid Mabinogi Nao figurine yesterday.  Also in the mail are a couple of artworks: one Lineage II book & one Kozue Amano book.  I would scan the covers but my sister has the scanner.  I'll scan them once she's done with it & get it back.

Anyways, what's new on this site now.  New complete anime reviews up are Ah! My Goddess: Takakau Tsubasa, Myself; Yourself, & Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei.  I did a small update on Tokimeki Memorial: Only Love & Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ since they didn't contain the extra DVD episodes.  Didn't affect the review score.  Just added material in the storyline parts.

Another thing that's new is the official opening of the Artbooks & Illustration Books section.  Before you would only get dead links by clicking on the links.  Some of the dead links are now opened.  The ones currently up are DigiCube Best Selection Series Vol.2: Complete Works I through VI Final Fantasy with original CD-ROM & The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Fanbook.  This section doesn't contain pics for download as you will only see the front & back covers.  This section is mainly a description of the books.  I currently have some old books which are the G's magazines in some of the collectables reviews.  I'm thinking of keeping them there & possibly do a description of those books for the newly opened section.  Thought about it several times, but haven't come to a conclusion yet.

For a final word, I know this isn't a great site as many out there.  But I would like to see how far this place will go.  Help spread the word of mouth about my place.  Remember, I got a button sized banner in the Links page that you can put on your own site or Facebook thing as well.  I'm thinking of making another banner that's bigger, but I need to see if I have time for that though.

Work this week isn't too bad.  Somewhat.  The new front desk agent seems to be holding out pretty well.  She's not that good yet though.  Fair enough to somewhat hold out on her only.  I'll let my GM handle with that when he sees how's she's doing on my day off.  This place is almost turning into a blog of my personal life than my hobby interests.  Probably because that's where I spend most of my time on.  Anyways, let's get down to business.

I kind of notice how the counter isn't matching with the number of actual viewers on this site.  It's like 300 something on the frame menu when the statistics is showing over 5000.  I'm thinking the reason for it is from search engines like Google.  I guess most of people are heading to certain sections of the site directly like one of my anime reviews.  Because the frame menu doesn't show up there, the "hit" showing viewers isn't recorded properly.  Now that I'm adding a home button on hopefully all pages, I'm hoping most people will click on that & refresh their pages to show the frame menu at the same time.  Also, I hope to figure out how to get the frames to stay permanently without doubling them.

In anime news, Bandai Entertainment announced that they will bring over Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time - A Tale of the Eight Guardians.  Don't really know much about it expect that it came from Koei's games.

Updates this week are pretty much complete anime reviews that have been sitting on the shelves for awhile again. Aside from housework, I'm still revamping this place & I'm long ways from it.  This week it's BLOOD+ (finally!), Kodomo no Jikan, & Potemayo Special.  There's more I want to add, but I think I should save them for next time; in case I can't get something new here.  But the revamping is still ongoing as well.

My Logitech DiNovo Media cordless keyboard & mouse set has finally arrived!  It was sent from the US a week before Christmas & it took either customs or the USPS to get it up to me.  Although it's refurbished, it should keep me going until a better cordless keyboard & mouse combo comes out.  I go for Bluetooth ones that are cordless & has a proper full numeric pad.  I know that the Logitech MX5000 has one, but I keep hearing problems about it.  The high end Microsoft ones don't do me well as the numeric pad is on the main keyboard like the laptops ones.  Don't find those comfortable to use.

Finally got around in doing something for the PSP News, Hacks, & Secrets section.  I updated it to the point where Sony made some announcements on hardware add-ons.  One of the add-ons was a keyboard.  My father told me that he saw a keyboard for the PSP available in Hong Kong when he was there in November last year.  Personally, I didn't believe him since I couldn't see any use for it expect for internet surfing.  It could be possible that it's available, but I don't know how it would be attached.

At work, not good.  Released the new front desk agent since my GM thinks the guy isn't serious about the job.  On the same day, he manages to hire someone already when a girl came to drop off her resume.  Hired on the spot.  Hired to come the next day & the GM didn't tell the other guy that he's fired yet.  Whoopie.  After a few days of training her, two of our front desk agents tell me that they may have seen the front desk agent before.  Told them that they probably seen her from her past jobs.  Found that she was in Canada's Next Top Model.  Big whoopie.  I don't watch the show, so I don't really know.  Plus, I don't go nuts over people that show up on TV or on any source of media before or present.

Another big news was one of our current front desk agent is gone.  I'm not sure about this one.  The GM mentioned about him not doing something because it was his last day or something.  Not sure if it's true or not.  If so, I don't know if he was released by the GM or he quit himself.  Two for one.  Technically, the GM wanted to get one person instead.  He did plan to release the current agent since he can't do the scheduling properly.  I would end up getting my days off on separate days for a year the GM thinks.  But, I think that agent would be the biggest loss since he's capable at the management level.  In fact, I think he can surpass me.  But his full time status at school is what cost him his loss really. If we have two people at the desk, this wouldn't have been a problem.  My company sucks.

After some mindless revamping on many of my web pages & uploading, I decided to upload what I hope is new & complete anime reviews.  Up now is Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun, Hataraki Man, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gaiden Nekogoroshihen, & Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai.  Doing this so I don't get mixed up on what's done & what's not.  Slims down the list a bit.  Still got a long way to go on just the anime reviews alone.  Don't know when I'll get to the next section.  It's probably the PSP game reviews next.  The collectable review section is huge.  But I want to get some new reviews up there.  That would force me to go out of line to revamp that review's section & possibly make me lose track as to where I would be doing.  Also up is an update price list of my items for sale in the Selling section.

Another so-called problem is that my parents will be going back to Hong Kong again this Friday on short notice.  Apparently, the Hong Kong passport office or something wants to interview my dad next week in order for him to get his citizenship there.  They will be gone at the end of the month.  Therefore, slow updates once again due to heavy household chores.  Probably nothing new until next month.

This past week, my work week was shorten a bit as a change in schedule is in effect.  Mainly because one of our front desk agent is going back to school full time & the new agent is back from vacation.  The new agent wasn't too bad after leaving for two weeks on vacation on an one week training.  Knew his own mistakes which is fair enough.  He'll be "trained" by our GM while I'm off.  Personally, I think it's testing to see where he's at.  Seriously, he's not the best.  But he's good enough.  Above average if you will.  I did have concerns about him forgetting everything, but it didn't see to happen which is a good thing.  He should be able to get the job in terms of the skills that I've seen.

Credit card bill is still stacking a bit, but I'm going to clean it out this week since it's due on the 11th.  Plan to pay it after paying for my car insurance renewal.  After that, more burning.  Got a couple of artbooks in mind that I want.  But I need to clean my bill first.  It's big enough to shock me as it is.  But what shocked me more was my cell phone bill tripling last month.  A lot of it came from work.  So, I told the staff not to call me unless it is an emergency.  I rediscovered what kind of plan I have & I don't plan to change it just for work.  Company doesn't pay me for them.  I mainly use my cell for emergencies or quick calls really.

Updates this week is mainly complete anime reviews of shows that I managed to catch up a bit during the two weeks off for the fall season.  New shows are coming soon & some of them already started.  Reviews that I got up are Hidamari Sketch, Minami-Ke, & Prism Ark.  Because I'm still revamping a lot of pages, I lost track of what should be up & what shouldn't.  In other words, I don't remember if some of the pages were up here on this site or not.  Chances are you will find some reviews that I would call new but were already up.  Or finding some new reviews that I thought were old.  So, some of the updates mentioned on the home page from now on may not be new stuff.  Anyways, this should be enough for this week.  Revamping is still going, so expect some dead links here & there if it happens.

Happy new year, everyone!  Hope this year will be a good one for everyone.  Thinking of making a new year's resolution which is to cut down on anime stuff.  Since the new year is here, December 2007 news is now in the Past News Archives

Just before the new year came, new stuff came though the mail.  My sister told me that there was a lot of stuff at the door.  I assume the post office was slacking off.  Imagine those were Christmas presents.  That would be a pain.  Anyways, I got some books & my Nendoroid Fate/stay night Hetare Saber Alter.  Currently, I actually haven't done any cleanup in my room.  Was too focused on revamping the pages of my site & figuring out how this new layout works.  Plus going out to do things; particularly Boxing week sales.  And just today, I brought more stuff.  Warriors of the Lost Empire & an artbook again.  No more spending for this month.  Only for necessary things now such as food & paying bills. Or until I pay off my credit card bill.  My car insurance hasn't been renewed yet as well.

Right now, there is no new updates this week.  Too much stuff to do really.  Hopefully, I'll get something up here soon.
