The book covers the Final Fantasy games from I to VI.  It talks about the history of the games from their release dates down to the retail price when they were first released. It also includes a list of item, monster stats, & a very brief walkthough of the games.

Aside from the game information, it has some game box arts & illustrations from Amano Yoshitaka. Most of the illustrations are reused art from his past works & aren't new. It's all in colour.

The book includes a Final Fantasy Extra Collection CD that is only usable for Japanese Playstation ones. It contains opening & ending videos, vehicle collections, event selections from the first six Final Fantasy games, & character profiles from Final Fantasy VII.

I would recommend this book if you are a Final Fantasy fan of the first six games & like Amano Yoshitaka's arts. The CD is useless unless you got a mod PS1 or PS1 emulator.
