VideoFACT was created in 1984 by Moses Znaimer and Bernie Finkelstein. Trying to increase the number and quality of Canadian videos available for airplay, they came up with VideoFACT - a program of non-recoupable grants set up voluntarily and funded entirely by MuchMusic, MusiquePlus and MuchMoreMusic. The video award is for a maximum of $20,000.
