Praise God!

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now am found,
was blind, but now I see.

Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come.
Tis grace hath led me safe thus far
and grace will lead me home.

When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun,
There're no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun.

Psalm 98

Sing to the LORD a new song, for he hath done marvellous things;
his right hand, and his holy arm
hath gotten him the victory.

The LORD hath made known his salvation:
his righteousness hath he openly shown in the sight of the heathen.

He hath remembered his mercy
and his truth toward the house of Israel:
all the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth:
make a loud noise, and rejoice; and sing praise.

Sing unto the LORD with the harp;
with the harp and the voice of a psalm.

With trumpets and sound of cornet
make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein.

Let the floods clap their hands;
let the hills be joyful together

Before theLORD; for he cometh to judge the earth:
with righteousness shall he judge the world,
and the people with equity.

Ephesians 2:8,9

For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Isaiah 40:31

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.

Proverbs 3: 5,6

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
And lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him
And he shall direct thy paths.

Psalm 19:14

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight, o LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

1 Corinthians 9:24, 25

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all,
but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things.

Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

Hebrews 10:22-25

Let us draw near with a true heart
in full assurance of faith,
Having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience,
and our bodies washed with pure water.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)

And let us consider one another
to provoke unto love and to good works:

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,
as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another:and so much the more,
as ye see the day approaching.

My Testimony

I have been raised in a Christian home and have believed in God for as long as I can remember. I have faith that He exists eternally, as One, in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. I believe that all men are sinners, and deserve to be flung into the pit, but since He sent His Son to die a painful death on a cross, we may be redeemed. In order to be saved one must confess that he is a sinner and repent, and express faith in God. He loves and cares for everyone who has ever lived and died, and we can reach him with our problems, griefs, praises, and requests through prayer. He is faithful, caring, majestic, merciful, just, and all-powerful. He created everything. Nothing happened by chance. We are created in His image, with a soul and a mind of our own. This sets us apart from animals. He has choosen us before we ever breathed. He will always be there, in our best and worst times. No matter what, we can count on Him.

Turn to Him

When the world has been flipped,
Turn to Him.
When your weak foot has slipped,
Turn to Him.
If you need a softened shoulder,
If you need to move a boulder,
Turn to Him.

When your life has reached its fullest,
Turn to Him.
When your heart now has no coldness,
Turn to Him.
When you're finally at your ease,
When there's only gentle breeze,
Turn to Him.

He was there when you cried,
He would not let you slide.
Now it's your time in life
To help some one with strife.
Turn to Him, and He'll use you,
Turn to Him.
