How do you "save" effect settings?

keep a floppy on which I save 1-SEQUENCEs for
effects use only. Then, for example, if I want to
recall a killer effect I had programmed, I just
load up the sequence, and copy my jam into it.
Alternately, write down the parameters. Either way,
it's a pain, but I think the floppy solution works
better."
