Autism is usually classified as a lifelong disability. However, with treatments many Autistics have become �less� Autistic, especially those who are already high functioning. Studies show that about 2% of Autistics become �normal,� and about 40% attain a high functioning level. Yet, Autism is not a static condition, nor is it a horrible fate.
