Aspergers

        Asperger Syndrome (AS), also called Aspergers and Asperger's is a complex pervasive developmental disorder characterized by poor social skills, yet, unlike Autism, a desire for social interaction. In addition, Aspergers is higher functioning. It is also part of the Autism Spectrum.

        Aspergers is similar to Autism in that there is a impairment in communication and social relationships, yet people affected by Aspergers often have less difficulty and may be fluent in speech. In addition, Aspergers may not cause the learning impairments common in Autistics.
