Prognosis of Aspergers Syndrome is generally more positive then that of the other pervasive developmental disorders although there has been very little information collected upong it. Prognosis will vary according to the severity of the syndrome yet many Asperger affected individuals may be able to function independently as adults, though they may be not socially adept.
