Though ADHD was once viewed as a childhood disorder that people grew out of, now it is clear that over half of children with ADHD also have it as adults. However, adults, with more experience, become quite capable of overcoming difficulties and controlling their behavior. Those who recieved treatment are likely to do even better. Many ADHD individuals do adapt effectivly and accept ADHD as part of them as well as live fulfilling lives.
