Agent 00J's $100,000 Challenge: Whose Car Collection Will Reign Supreme?
What an interesting week this has been. It seems as though some pretty amazing things happened that will be remembered in history.
A spunky woman from Alaska kicked some serious ass with a speech that almost single handedly revitalized the Republican party, Lexus updates the venerable IS series with some very sedate changes, oil continues to fall in price as the dollar strengthens, and MichaelTaylor went too far and got himself banned.
My head still is spinning from the fact that a political article regarding Sarah Palin generated such a tremendous response on a site dedicated to the love of cars, but I guess that only proves how well educated and informed AutoSpies.com readers are.
I thought it would be fun to give you all a little break and have some fun this weekend. It is not uncommon for one of the Agents to throw out a comparison and ask you which car you would choose and why. It is not unusual to have a few terse words exchanged in defending a particular choice, and yes sometimes those words are directed at the Agents. So I figured it would be fun to allow you to set up the choices, and then defend your decisions.
This isn’t a BMW verse anything comparison, what this is is a Your choice Versus Their Choice discussion.
So here’s the dilemma, you are awarded $100,000 to be spent on automobiles. The only rules are as follows, they have to be new cars or trucks on sale today, and you have to spend every dime build your own car online of the $100,000. Any money you don’t spend you don’t get to keep.
Hmmmm…
This could be interesting, do you go bold and buy the Nissan GT-R ($70k) and a 4-Door VW GTI ($25k), how about going green and buying a garage full of hybrids like the new Cadillac Escalade Hybrid ($70k) and Toyota Prius ($30k). A BMW 135i and X5 3.0 would do nicely as would a Dodge Challenger ($40k), Ford Mustang GT ($25k) along with a Cadillac CTS ($35k).
But hey, those are just my suggestions, lets see how creative and close to $100k you can get, remember the change from that $100k bill is not yours, so don’t leave any money on the table. And for arguments sake, we will new car dealership albuquerque just use base prices in tabulating our totals.
Sadly in doing this, our friend MichaelTaylor won’t be able to share with us his imaginary Lexus lineup, so I will car seat protector try radio control car to do it for you… IS-F for weekends and a ES350 for a daily driver!!!
You all worked hard this week, go ahead and relax, have some fun spending $100,000.00.

Don't know if 00J will be happy I did this but Sarah Palin is not the only one running for office...00J is running for Alderman of his town in Tennessee.

good luck 00J-- I admire anyone willing to take on the role of a public servant, especially in local government where more people are doing so for the right saturn car reasons.

Well, if we have Dollar Car Rental Angeles Airport to stay NEW vehicles I'd go for an X6 and a 135 convertible.
If allowed to go with used vehicles (at least some of them), it's a lot more interesting- there's a nice-looking Inka Orange 2002 tii on eBay, 17k buys it; 06 M5 muscle car trader (would prefer the 07 with a manual, but too much $ for this), around 52k should get a decent one easily; and an 07 X3 6-speed, should be right at 30k. car magnet oregon That leaves 1k to spread around to make sure they are all do-able!

Let's throw a celebration party!
Lincoln Navigator L 4WD $62,430
Mercury Grand Marquis $31,195
Total: $93,625
And the rest of the money is gone since I can't keep it and the reason for the Grand Marquis since I can't go with cars that aren't fully loaded.

M53R, LOL! Well i remember he said he banged her which I thought was pretty funny. But I didnt see the rest. Oh well. What I thought was funnier was the fact that car price guide people (typically the same people) actually took the time and energy to argue with him. He pobably actually hated lexus. He was probably a teen doing a report on how many time an idiot would argue with an idiot. Many of you fell for it, lol. He was the most popular person on here based upon the number of responses per post. funny.
