Tennesse Adventure & Myrtle Beach Bike Rally
Day 7 � May 11/07
Today we are checking out of our campsite in the Smokey Mountains, and heading to Myrtle Beach. But not before we do one more ride. Hunting for bears! Gotta see a bear in the Smoky Mountains before we leave! LOL
Hit the twisting and winding roads again, and headed for a park where we were told we would likely see bears called Cades Cove. And we did! We saw a momma bear with her cub. She would play with the cub, then put it up in a tree (protection?) and rest a while. Then do it again and again.
She was very far away (probably a good thing), but I would have liked to have been a bit closer. Hard to get a good pic with her so far away. :o(
After our ride, we went back to camp, packed up our stuff, and rode the 6 � ride to Myrtle Beach. We got in approximately 10:00 pm and set up at Willow Tree RV Resort, site # 74. We then took a night ride into Myrtle Beach (about � hr from camp) to check out the scene, and then called it a night.
