Editorial: Words from the Staff
  By: Leia H.

The Hayloft is proud to present to its readers its March issue.  We have had many administrative changes in these three months: Both our Editor-in-Chief and Staff Writer, Shauna A, have resigned from their positions.  But in their place we are glad to welcome Blair Finney and Lauren Unger.

With this change in staff also comes another change.  The Hayloft has decided to become a seasonal e-zine instead of a monthly publication, as we have decided that we would rather serve the readers better with more outstanding articles and news from the equine world - With a less hectic schedule, this would be achievable, so look forward to the next issue, which would be a 50-page spread filled with exciting reports, glossy photographs, as well as intriguing videos!

Speaking of videos, The Hayloft has managed to include one in this issue.  Take a look at the video of Bill Horn, the renowned trainer, riding the world-famous Trashadeous! The photograph of Trashadeous is used with written permission from the American Paint Horse Association (APHA), and is protected by international copyright laws.

Please note that we do welcome submissions to The Hayloft.  If you are an aspiring writer, and would like to see your works published, feel free to send in your submission to us.  If it is selected for electronic publishing in The Hayloft, you will be automatically shortlisted as a writer, should our hope of creating an equine-related book in 2001 come true.

Thank you to all that have given us support in the e-zine. They include: Saddleseat Riders Online, American Paint Horse Association, Kulacrosse Clip Art Stables and Equi-Site, which have allowed us to use their artwork in the e-zine.
