This history is set in a time line format,� might come back later and set another in story format giving you the choice of which you want to view, but for now you'll have to be happy with this one. ^_~ The history here starts with 161 years ago and counts down until the present is at the bottom of the screen. This is the same as the Shikara Family history without listing the birth and death of every Shikara like the other one does.

Add a year or two to all the numbers, I'll have to go back through when I have time and match it to the current overall timeline for Nepherasta. Other minor changes that happened to the storyline will also have to be changed too. Thanks.
161- after a war with the centaurs the humans have taken over the island getting some trouble from Oshiana as well. Baroness Kayleen Shikara has a castle built on the cliffs overlooking Misty Bay and a small fishing village called Serenity. The castle was placed in this location to allow the griffons and their riders to simply hop off the side of the cliff, catch the sea breeze and take flight quickly. They were acting as sentinels guarding from Notica, the underwater capitol of Oshiana, which was off the coast about 38 miles. Lady Kayleen brought with her, not only the griffons, but a five year old daughter named Nikkie.
148- Nikkie marries a war hero and a griffon rider called Jona, since Nikkie's older brother Matthew Shikara was king of the Amazons, she was the last in her line and Jona agreed to take on her name and became the first Baron Shikara.
138- Baron Jona decides to start trading the wine the centaurs make, which quickly becomes a much loved export and expands the fishing village into a trade town over the next few years. The ships that come to get the wine also are caring other goods people of Serenity desire and Serenity begins to make other exports as well.
134- Serenity grows so fast many fights and disputes break out. Baron Jona builds the Watch Tower and hires city guards.
132- Guards have trouble keeping peace so Baron Jona builds a large arena and declares dueling law. Dueling becomes a favorite sport of the island quickly bringing many spectators and duelist to the city. The Kyle Shikara Memorial Dueling Arena is built.
131- Marcus and Cade Dupree open the Dupree Dueling Academy, which is famous today for training some of the best in the sport.
129- Lord Adrian Shikara marries a woman named Lita and as set in the laws by Baroness Kayleen Shikara, Adrian gains the title and the lands.
128- Baron Adrian and Baroness Lita welcome their first child into the world, a kind soul they name Faith and who grows up to be a famous healer who's deeds of kindness and compassion go down in history.
123- Lord Matthew Shikara, king of the Amazons, returns home after his beloved wife, the Amazon queen, Marci, dies.
122- Matthew kills Kyle, who is only 21, and then leaves town with his mother Kayleen.
117- Baron Adrian has a large wall built around the growing city leaving room for fields inside the walls, fields which have since been built upon as the city has over grown those walls.
112- Lady Faith moves to Siren Springs, home of the pix elves and the best hospitals in Korali. She beings her training in what will make her famous, the healing arts.
111- Faith marries Lord Angus Webb, a knight who's lands comprise of that which Siren Springs rests upon.
103- Lord Harlan marries Katherine and gains the title of Baron as well as all the lands and responsibility that goes with it.
93- Lord Jona passes away, Baron Harlan has a statue and a town square created in his grandfather's honor. The square is now called the Plaza and the large statue of Baron Jona upon his griffon partner still stands today.
52- Connor Shikara marries Celia, gains the title of Baron, and all the goodies.
36- Hawke Stormshadow builds a magic school in Serenity, Stormshadow School of Magic
7- Matthew and Kayleen Shikara come back, the people assume to help the city in it's time of need.
6- The pirate Shady Moon turns Prince Joshy into a frog. King Reddrick hires a mercenary by the name of Aspen Starshine to hunt the pirate and the rest of her crew, lead by Pirate Queen Arachne, down.
5- Crime is extinguished from Serenity by Captain Matthew Shikara of the Guard. The people rejoice.
3- King Reddrick hears a rumor that the centaurs want their land back, so he order all free centaur to be enslaved. Prince Joshy is kidnapped.
2- The Screaming Banshee Inn and Tavern, a long time favorite on the road moves into the city.
1- Matthew Shikara seem to grow more and more angry every day until he finally takes over his family castle and kills Cameron Shikara as Cameron was trying to receive the title of Baron. The people think that Erconi running off without a word anger the ancestors and grow worried that the family will upset the ancestors again.
