What we are learning is this task is an arduous one, but also one filled with reward. It is ironic that we are able to initiate this task in an era utilizing the most modern of equipment to successfully reach back and find those who came before us, many of whom lived in times of famine and hardship, and had the courage to leave the precious behind in order to find that illusive "better future."

Our family:
Michael and Katie, were married August 15, 1970, under the redwoods at Muir Woods, California. Katie has devoted her working years as a nurse and Michael is an engineer and physicist working for Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. During their marriage of twenty-eight years they have been blessed with two sons. Morgan and Brandon[email protected] who are now in the process of setting out on their own. Perhaps some day, some unknown descendent of theirs will look back and find our story of as much interest to them, as we have found that of our ancestors.
