Date of photograph uncertain, probably mid '20s

On July 18, 1908 Claude and I were married at 369 Addison Avenue, Palo alto. Agnes Hutchins and my bridesmaids, my cousin, Constance Davis and Angeline Boardman. Another cousin, Maude Wellendorff, a fine pianist, played at my wedding. Our first home was at 1111 Emerson Street in Palo Alto and it was there that Martha was born on October 12, 1909. Shortly thereafter we moved to a house at 911 Bryant Street where Jean was born on February 8, 1911. Both houses are gone now.
