There are a number of language dependent issues that should be
discussed and standardized before the typing of the Bible manuscript
begins. The standards for these items should be developed in
consultation with the translation and production consultants in
charge of the project. Once there is agreement as to how to handle
the various items presented below, the standards should be listed and
explained in a key file which accompanies the Bible manuscript. This
file will be archived with the manuscript to provide insights to
future projects requiring use of the Bible text.
