Welcome to our first issue/installment of MACHO International on-line. Finally! Whew!

We've sure taken our sweet time about it...yeah, I know. Was it worth it? I sure as as hell hope so. Like it is said in our "Statement of Purpose"(the loong version), most of our stuff comes from our "constituency," and let's just say we've had a slooow month and a half. So, if this maiden issue of ours sucks, blame them.

But what the hell, maiden anythings of anything almost always do not show the best of anything anyway. I mean, look at the Titanic. It was on its maiden voyage. Let's hope we don't sink.

So I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our contributors for this maiden issue/installment.
JOHN GALT for A Letter To Dr. Warren Farrell
DIANNE H. RICHARDSON for Choices
JOHN BLAKEFIELD for Single Sex Education For Boys
RICK "FLY" BODARD for The Bar Scene
RICHARD SULLIVAN for A Father's Approval
KYLE ANDRE JACKSON for On Crotchless Panties And Silk Jockeys...
MARTIN K. POPE for Sexual Harassment And Standards
TALON KANAELL for Why The Media Ignores Men's Issues and Shelly Strauss: Short Sighted Web Feminist
BEASTMAN for Gender Politics At Play
NICK DANGER for Male Reproductive Freedom: Another Perspective
And to all our letter writers. Thanks a lot.

As for our unknowing contributors, ie. the Boston Globe and Robert Sides (through Talon Kanaell), and Turin, we sincerely apologize if we've overstepped our bounds and we will remove everything of yours from the pages should you request it, as soon as possible.

We at MACHO International mostly prefer original articles from readers but we do of course put up "commercial" works, ie. articles off popular media should it be good and emphatic enough to catch our attention.

We dropped our five country approach (MACHO Australia, MACHO Canada, MACHO New Zealand, MACHO U.K. and MACHO U.S.A.) because of the aforementioned slooow month and a half. Once we get enough impetus we'd relaunch them again. Until then we're going global.

Alas, our next installment is about two or three months away due to some serious issues affecting our major members. But after that, we'll be as regular as clockwork, scout's honor. Keep posting your contributions, please.

Meanwhile, be rest assured that our mission, "to bring the nobility of the male back into public consciousness" would be aggressively pursued off the net. We're ten times more nasty than fake feminists and a million times more honest when it comes to our cause. Remember, we're not going to remain totally net-bound for long. We believe in making noise. Lots of it. It's time for the male to be heard (once we get him to speak, that is). And we're gonna make sure that happens, come hell or high water.

Enjoy
