People and happenings in general
Lochac is a large land, and it's people are dispersed over an area
nearly as huge as the lower 48 states of the USA. Consequently, Rowany
Festival is a time for meeting new folk from far flung groups, and renewing
old friendships. Even so, with over 1000 attending this year's Festival,
it is difficult to meet everyone. Events such as Festival play a vital
role in the development of the culture of a land such as Lochac. A time
for the creation of myths, reliving of legends and communication of ideas,
ideals and information. Below are some portraits of gentles I ran across
at this year's gathering. Some I know well. Some I know hardly at all.
Yet we are all united in our participation in this unique event.
