Laurels' Prize Tourney
Naturally, it's not all fighting and war and hacked limbs littering the Village Green. One of the high points of Festival is the Laurels' Prize Tourney, held in the Tavern. Dozens of entries were subjected to the rigorous examination of many pairs of Laurels' eyes, and commented on. Entries this year ranged from a trebuchet, to embroidery, brewing, calligraphy and leathercraft, with many other arts and sciences represented too. A feature this year was that some of the Laurels entered their own work.
