PKARENA TIPS:
There  are  many  things  that  can  help  you  survive  in  the  pkarena  world,  these  following  tips  are  aimed  mainly  to  newbies  who  have  probably  seen  some  of  us  hardcore  players  do  these  things  and  can't  figure  out  how  is  done:

Autosentry  tricks-  The  autosentry  is  an  invaluable  little  helper,  not  only  as  an  offensive  weapon  to  guard  an  area   while  you  camp  :-)   or  to  just  slowly  drain  life  out  of  your  opponents,  but   as  a  great  defensive  shield.  You   should  bind  autosentry  to  an  easily  accessible  key.  It  partially  repel the  chainlightning  gun  beam  and  railgun  shots.   It  is  not  100%  protection,  but  it   significantly  decreases  the   rate  at   which  you  lose  life  points  as  well as  draining  life  out  of  your  opponents  from  the  reflected  beams.  A  quaded  player  will  die  very  quickly  if  fires  a  chainlightning  gun  at  a  person  shielded  by  the  autosentry.  To  use  this technique  just  hold  the  autosentry  facing  the  direction  of  your  opponent.  If  your  opponent  sees  you're  holding  an  autosentry  then  most  likely  he'll  switch  to   another  weapon,  so  be  ready  to  counteract  or  strike.

Airfist  Tricks- The  airfist  has  many  standard  uses  such  as  blowing  people  into  lava  pools  :-)  or   airfist  jumping  to  high  places,  or  of  course  one  of  its  main  uses,  blowing  back  (repelling)   rockets  or  grenades  shot  at  you  by opponents.  One  of  the  less  known  tricks  of  the  airfist  is  to  greatly   increase  your  travelling  speed.  YESSIR!  have  airfist- will  travel,  a  lil'  airfist travellin'  music  please!  All  you  need  to  do is   airjump  once  and  turn   opposite  the  direction  you  wanna  go  and  blow  horizontally. With  practice  you  can  probably  blow  a  couple  times  in  different  directions  to accomodate   a  winding  corridor  for   example,  and is  one  of  the  most  effective  methods  of  escaping  when  your  health  is   low  or  someone  is  quaded  or  thrwing  a  gravity  well.
Another  airfist  trick  is  for  grenade  or   gravity  well  push-  If  you  have  a  grenade  launcher, try  this  next  time, go  to  a  significantly  large  open   area  or  large  corridor,   blow  the airfist  once  and  quickly  launch  a grenade,  see   how  fast  and  far  that  sucker  goes!
It  works  the  same  with  the  gravity  well,  make  sure  you  blow  FIRST,  then  VERY QUICKLY   throw  the gravity  well,  otherwise yer  arse  gets  buried  in  the  carcass  fields,  unless you  remember  to  use  that  sirfist  speed  travelling  trick!  With  the  implementation  of  gravity  well  deploy  with  the  tongue  (grappling  hook),  most  people  do  not  use  the  airfist-well  push,  but  I  do,  cause  it  gets to  the  other  side  a  lot  faster  and  it  does  not  make  that   alerting  grappling  hook  sound  as  well  as  the  highly  visible  pink  tongue  of  the  hook  that  lets  everyone  know  you're  deploying  a  well.

Chainlight  jumping-  YUP!,   bet  you  didn't  know  that  one  you  hardcore  gamer-  Of  course  it   has  VERY  limited  use,  but  done  at  the  right  time  it  will  get   you  some  kills  and  a  nice   high  jump.  So  far  I  do  not  understand  why  or  how  it  happens,  but   it  does , and  I  use  it.  It  works  in  rather  shallow pools  of  liquids  and   of  course  you  need  to  have  the  enviro  protection  or   you'd  fry  yer  butt,   you  also  need  to  have  a  good  reason  to  do  it  because  that maneuver  will  deplete  all  your  cells  and  you'd  be  left  with  a  useless  chainlightgun  till  you  find  more  ammo.  So  far  I have   been  able  to   do  it  in PQarena-pk  and  my  favorite  pksphinx  for  PKARENA3. I  get  the  chainlightgun,  then  get  the  enviro,  skinnydipp   into  the  hot  lava  pool   and  fire  that  sucker,  the  blast  usually  fries  some   unsuspecting  player  in  the  field  of  view  and  makes  me  jump way  high,  sometimes  if  aimed  correctly  I  can  even  get  to   the  red  armor   in   the  upper  deck,  which  conveniently  also  has  ammo  to  replenish  my  chainlight  gun.

Boomstick  jump-  Boomstick  is  a  fritendly  term  used  to  describe  the  shotgun  with  the   exploding  shells,  and  it  can  be  used  to  jump  just
like  a  rocketjump,  although  not  that  high,  probably  half  that  heigth,  but  it  is  a  very  good  trick  to  know.

Chainlightning  gun  boogie!-  Hehhh,   the  chainlightning  gun  differs   from  the  lightning  gun  in  vanill   quake III  Arena   in  that   it  has  the  ability  to  seek  and  hook  to  adjacent  players,  so  you  may  hook  several  players  at  once  and  fry  them.
A  very  neat  trick  though  is  that  you  can  fire  at   dead  players  parts  scattered  in  the  floor  and  still  be  able  to  hook  adjacent  players.
It  is  extremely  funny  to  keep  firing  at  dead  players  when  you  hear  someone  approaching  cause  they'll  get  hooked  as  soon  as  they   step   in  and  even   funnier  if  someone  also  happens  to  respawn   nearby  cause  they'll  fry  too.  In  quake  1  You  could  even  fire  at  a   sentry   and  it  would  hook  players,  but  I  haven't  been  succesful  in doing  that  in  PKARENA,  I  don't  think  it  can  be  done.

Well  I  hope  these  tricks  have  some  use  for  you,  if  I  think  of  anymore, I'll  be  posting  them  here.
