Title Index Structure and Use:

      gallery links:

To view the book cover art for a title, click "cover" in the gallery links column.

      basic chronology links:

To see the synopsis for a title with a single entry in the Chronology section, such as All Good Things or Bless the Beasts above, click the chronology link to the left which indicates the series and time period. The following series abbreviations are used.

          TOS - The Original Series
          TNG - The Next Generation
          DS9 - Deep Space Nine
          VOY - Voyager
          NF  - New Frontier

      multiple chronology links:

Many Star Trek titles have multiple entries in the Chronology section, with the synopsis for each emphasizing different aspects of the story. The title index has a link to each synopsis (see Avenger and Best Destiny above), with series "crossover" links (Avenger) noted to the right of the title. In the case of crossovers, the links in the Chronology column always apply to the series which is the main focus of the book.

      multi-series collections:

For multi-series collections (Captain's Table above), the main entry in the title index is under the collection name, with cross-references for individual books (Armageddon Sky). The link in the Chronology column (Captain's Table) connects to the synopsis for the entire collection, placing it in the time period for the first book. The link to the right of an individual title connects to the series and time period for that particular book.

      short stories:

Short stories are indexed by the collection title. (not included in the sample)

If the collection is all about one series, such as "Star Trek: the New Voyages", individual story titles are not listed, but the synopses but can be found by clicking the link for the collection.

For a multi-series collection like "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" the stories are listed for each series, with a link to the Short Stories Chronology. If the time period for a story has been established, there will also be an individual link to the main series chronologies.
