The Race II was supposed to be the excellent sequel to SGF's first movie ever created: The Race. Sam and Greg built a new stadium and loaded it with many diverse creatures. Sitting in the middle of the stadium was the tower for Jabba the Hutt's grandma to view the exciting event. A few well-known SGF characters made an appearance in this extinct film, such as the Dinosaur Hunter (who made his comment at the end of The Island II come true: "I'm off to see that race that I've got tickets to!") and The Announcers. The main downfall of this film was a lack of storyline. The second race began with Jabba's grandmother singing the Tatooine national anthem. She hurts everyone's ears and makes some people pass out. She has a heart attack and someone had to save her. Who better to do this than Super Ewok? The lovable character made his entrance and lifted Jabba's grandma off of the ground, only to get crushed and die under her weight. Of course, the race moves on. The racers take off. They crash, collide, and get shot at, all on a realistic race track filmed outside. This is about the time when the viewers really lose interest. It just gets boring, so the broadcast of The Race II is interrupted by a really cool Jedi fight between Sam, Greg, and an extra. The three Jedi fought with hands, lightsabers, and the Force. It ended with all three Jedi dying. After that, the day's filming was over. SGF got tired of it and decided not to finish it. The best part was definitely the Jedi fight, but Sam and Greg believed that they could make a better Jedi fight in the future. SGF went on to make its next movie, The Battle II, and taped it over The Race II, forever losing this unfinished SGF film. |
