| Where there's a battle, they're there. Where there's a fight, they're there. Where there's a sport going on, they're there. Yoda and The TaunTaun have a long history with SGF, supplying one of our only known catch-phrases: "little buddy" and making us laugh ever since the Race came out. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Their first movie was The Race, in which they were the announcers. They were actually the only ones who stayed awake during the race. That just goes to show how sports-enthusiastic they are. In The Race, the TaunTaun was the main announcer, while yoda mostly kept quiet, falling off of their stands and hurting himself over and over. The TaunTaun got nervous every time this happened, which started the ctach phrase, "Oh no, Little Buddy!" This was used every time they appeared in other SGF movies. The next movie they appeared in was The Island, only for a brief moment, but they watched and announced for a small fight between the Dinosaur Hunter's team and a pack of hungry raptors. The announcers were bad-mouthing the raptors, so the raptors turned and went after the announcers instead, buying time for the team to escape. In a funny twist, the TaunTaun fell of the roof of the place they were standing, and yoda said "little buddy" instead. Since then their most important role was in Attack of the Clowns: Episode 1, The Alliance. At the very end of the movie, the announcers appear in a small building watching as disbelief as the clown was taking over the planet, ripping the building holding the important meeting, just after the council had decided to form an alliance with even the Empire, to beat the Evil Clown's empire. | with a flying piece of the building, but pulls himself to his feet again to leave the audience with one last message, "Destroyed, this meeting building is. Begun, this clown war has..." For the time being, the famous duo is presumed dead, as they have not appeared since the time of the planet's invasion. But who knows, maybe someday they'll just show up out of nowhere to announce an athlectic event being held somewhere in the SGF version of the Star Wars galaxy... |
