| Pre-Street Fighter: Adon a student of Sagat�s. He was accepted as Sagat�s disciple after Sagat became the God of Muay Thai. Adon trained endlessly to become stronger and even sought to surpass his master but everyone referred to him as merely Sagat�s shadow. It was Because of this that Adon crafted his style to be completely different from Sagat�s. Even after that, though, people still paid more attention to Sagat than him and still thought of him only as a weaker version of Sagat, despite his very different style, and this has caused deep resentment and envy within Adon for his master. Street Fighter : Adon participated in the Street Fighter tournament to prove to the world that he was more than just a lesser version of Sagat. However, when he fought Ryu, he got arrogant and to sure of himself. Because of this Ryu won the match with a single Shoryuu Ken, and he was eliminated from the tournament. Street Fighter Alpha 2: Adon is filled with rage at the Fact that the style of Muay Thai Was defeated. However, his rage is not directed to Ryu, but to Sagat, for losing to |
| Ryu and allowing the name of Muay Thai to fall into the dirt. He feels that Sagat no longer deserves the title of the God of Muay Thai, and goes out to defeat Sagat. When Adon finally finds Sagat, Sagat is merely a rage filled being consumed with the thought of revenge against Ryu. Adon challenges Sagat to a matche, and Sagat, being too enraged to focus on the fight losses the match. This is what Adon needed to come out from under Sagat�s shadow, and at the same time he became the new God of Muay Thai. It wasn't without cost, though, even thought Sagat was distracted he was still an extremely powerful fighter. Adon had to go to the hospital and stay there for months due to his injuries from the battle. After recovering, Adon hears news of a man named Akuma. It seems that Akuma killed one of Adon's challengers. Adon becoems even more surprised at the revelation that Akuma wields the same power that was used by Ryu to defeat Sagat! Adon becomes determined to find Akuma and take this power for himself.
Street Fighter Alpha 3: Adon searched for Akuma. He spotted him briefly, but didn't get to fight him. Where Is He Now: Wether Adon found Akuma or is still looking for him is unknown. Based on how Akuma acts towards other martial artists, if Adon did in fact find him then he might not have even been able to challenge Akuma if Akuma didn�t see him as worthy. Capcom doesn't give much clues here. Adon is probably still alive, though, and most likely still the God of Muay Thai. Miscellaneous Facts and Notes: Sagat took in Adon as a student 3 years after Sagat became the Muay Thai God. Adon is very arrogant, and uses selective memory in his arguments. He's enraged that Sagat lost to Ryu during the first Street Fighter Tournament but neglects to mention how he lost to Ryu during the first Street Fighter tournament, too, with a single strike even. Adon is still currently the God of Muay Thai after beating Sagat in Street Fighter Zero 2 The Age difference between Adon and Sagat is about 5 to 7 years. |
