White Wolf Steve Jackson Games


Way, way back in the early nineties, the pale wights of White Wolf and the Illuminated conspiracy-theorists of SJG made a deal. Under this, the popular World of Darkness series of games would be published as GURPS sourcebooks; two volumes for each of the five game lines. And all was well, except that somewhere along the line the deal ended, long before SJG had published their intended ten tomes. Only four were released, covering the bare bones of the first three games, namely Vampire, Werewolf and Mage. That was nearly ten years ago.
Vampire Lovers
In the intervening time, White Wolf have released an awful lot of source material for the World of Darkness - the Wraiths and Changelings were introduced, and then dropped again as they were overcome by war and storms. Other races were brought into the light; the Risen, the Mummies (both the Shemsu-Heru and the Reborn), the other Changing Breeds (or Bet�), the Imbued. The Shen were also detailed, being the Awakened races of the far East; the Kuei-Jin, the hengeyokai and Kumo. Lots happened.
So one of the reasons I've created this page is to detail rules and ideas for some of these creatures in GURPS. Hopefully some of you will find this useful. I'm also going to post up scenarios and other ideas I've had for the GURPS World of Darkness, though this will probably take awhile. Enjoy this, let me know what you think, and don't stray too far into the Shadows...
