New Rules
There are a few rules I dislike in GURPS Vampire, but they didn't seem to fit in the Upgrades sections. So they're here instead. Also a few important changes are listed in both sections.
- Disciplines - Original Storyteller material had no fatigue costs for Disciplines. A few cost Willpower points, which I would translate into something similar to fatigue, and a few cost Blood Points, but most were free. Hence in my campaign Discipline use does not require the expenditure of fatigue. Some people might view this as making them over-powerful, but I find them crippled with such limitations. Those which are listed as costing Blood Points still carry this cost though.
You might notice that a few of the New Disciplines I've posted do have a fatigue cost listed for certain Powers. This is to reflect the requirment of Willpower points in the original Storyteller material, and is the exception rather than the rule. The conversion rate I chose to use was 1 Willpower point = 2 fatigue points.
- Sundeath - A vampire now suffers the damage listed in the Disadvantage every 5 seconds rather than every minute. This is far closer to the rules given in White Wolf. The points value of the disadvantage is not increased in order to in some way alleviate the reduced (fatigue) cost of disciplines.
