Corax should be built on 300-400 points. Rage and Gnosis are worked out as for Garou; with Gnosis starting equal to Fatigue and Rage starting at a flat 10. These are modified right off by the Corax package though. Being creatures of Helios rather than Luna, Corax take aggravated damage from Gold rather than Silver.
As with the Werewolf package, all the Wereravens non-human forms are based upon the Homid form.
The Corax Template
Many of the Corax package covers the distinctive features of each form, which are described in detail below. Those traits not specific to any particular form are:
Advantages: Extra Gnosis +5 (40 points); Eye Magic (10 points); Instant Regeneration (No effect on aggravated wounds -25%, 75 points); Step Sideways (60 points); Were Form (13 points).
Disadvantages: Curious (-5 points); Enemy (The Wyrm) (-80 points); Impulsiveness (-10 points); Reduced Rage -4 (-16 points); Secret: Were (-30 points); Vulnerability to Gold, 1d (-4 points).
Skills: Flight-DX (2 points); Garou Language-IQ (2 points); Manoeuvre: Hit Location +4, Eyes only, Brawling or MA (2 points)
The Corax package totals 196 points.
There are no Breeds of Corax. All are created via the Rite of the Spirit Egg.
Again, there are no Auspices among Corax. The closest they have are camps, who fulfil different roles in their society, but there are no different rules mechanics.
The Corax have only a few Gifts of their own, but they'll happily steal those of the other Betè. Let starting Corax select their three Gifts from level One of any Garou selection, be that Breed, Tribe or Auspice. The GM may refuse to allow any Gift.
Standard human form. No modifiers.
Attributes: ST +3; DX +3.
Advantages: Alertness +3; Claws (sharp, hand-to-hand damage is now cutting); the Delirium; 3 Extra Hit Points; Flight (Winged).
Disadvantages: Minus one level of Appearance.
Skill Modifiers: -5 to both Fast-Talk and Diplomacy.
Attributes: ST -3; DX +3.
Advantages: Alertness +4; Bite (Beak, does impaling damage based on ST, as per p.B140); Flight (Winged); Speak With Animals (Ravens Only).
Disadvantages: Inconvenient Size (Smaller); Mute; No Fine Manipulators
Skill Modifiers: -8 to both Fast-Talk and Diplomacy.
This is again a superset of the Multiple Forms super-advantage from GURPS Supers.
The Corax have three forms in a continuum, and to get from one to another, all the intervening forms must be assumed temporarily, as described on p.WtA60.
It is broken down thusly:
Were Form, 2 additional forms: 10 points
Active Change +20%
Shared points over 20% of total allowed +20%
Responds to Change Control Skill +10%
Forms are a continuum that must be traversed -20%
Final Cost: 10 x 130% = 13 points
