MY THOUGHTS ON VISION - James E. Hayes

People are an organization's number one asset. Their ability to perform efficiently/effectively with a Vision from Leadership will lead to success.

Vision is Taking care of people. Let your words be filled with life and act upon those words in good faith.

Vision is the Ability to see the future clearly. Make efficient/economical decisions to enable one's organization to meet today's and tomorrow's requirements.

  Vision is Streamlining processes

Vision is Seamless processing of information. A central point for distribution of information to customers.

Vision is Decentralizing processes for clients to enable greater dissemination of information to masses/populous.

Vision is Training the work force to be self-sufficient and independent. Encourage sharing of idea's to further one's personal and organizational goals.

Above all, integrity, professionalism and the ambition to meet the "Vision."

Leveraging Technologies through Local Area Networks

To me a LAN is many things. To users, it is consistent access to useful network resources (peripheral devices) via familiar clients or desktop computers. To managers, it is the system that provides access and the tools needed to run it effectively. To its programmers, it is a combination of technologies.

As a users, programmers or managers I look to LAN's as a strategic tool, leveraging technology for the maximum output in a users job and the accomplishment of the organizations mission/vision.

LEADERSHIP

We herd sheep, we drive cattle, we lead people. Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way.    George S. Patton

People ask the difference between a leader and a boss. The leader works in the open, and the boss in covert. The leader leads, and the boss drives.    Theodore Roosevelt

SERVICE

Always do more than is required of you.    George S. Patton
