Sorry for the extreme lack of updates but one of my other sites is going through a major move and I haven't had time to tend to my other 3...I updated the tour dates and keep and eye out for pictures and a review of Flickerstick's wonderful show IN NYC@Irving Plaza!! I will be attending the show on February 26th at Birch Hill in NJ (whenever I can get tickets for it!!)
And I missed it but the Smile video was on Pop Up video last week, if anyone wants to Email me with any details of the video for the site feel free to!

The guys are winding down their 2001 tour and gearing up for 2002. They'll be kicking it off with a big New Years Eve show in Dallas at Deep Ellum Live with Chomsky, Lucy Loves Schroeder and Kissinger opening! Want to go see the show but live far away? FLICKERSTICK HOTEL PACKAGE
The participating hotel for the Flickerstick/Deep Ellum Live attendees is the 3 million dollar, newly renovated Days Inn on Harry Hines at Market Center Blvd. This hotel has a walk in lobby and room entrance. Extra security will be hired for your safety.
A rate of $55.00 + tax for a single or double occupancy with out breakfast. However, for $65.00 + tax each guest will receive a hot breakfast which includes gratuity. This breakfast hours are being extended until noon for your convenience as well as a late check out time of 1:00 PM.
Transportation schedule from the hotel to the venue, 2727 Canton St., will begin at 6:00 PM and run every hour until 9:00 PM. Pick ups will resume beginning midnight until 3:00 AM. However, if you need special arrangement, please contact the concierge.
These rates will be applicable if any guests wish to extend their stay. A 24 hour cancellation notice is required to avoid any charges to credit card. Please mention Flickerstick at the time of check in and present ticket or ticket stub to receive discount.

I wanted to mention the sad news on the death of George Harrison, guitarist for The Beatles. He died on November 29 from cancer. My condolences go out to his family, freinds, and fans around the world, he is a major part of music history.

I got my copy of the cd today (last in the store!!) and I must say it sounds great, I can hear the difference betwwen the 2 cd's. Anyway there has been concearn about the change of the line in Coke that goes "I'd like to buy the world a Coke and lie here naked with my girl" to "I'd like to buy the world a Coke and lie here taken with my girl". A fellow fan Patrick emailed a few people stating his concearn and got a swift response from Flickerstick's manager Paulie explaining why:
Coca-Cola made us change it. It was either change it or remove the song from the record. They didn't want their brand associated with "naked". Believe me, we tried everything we could to keep it but Coke is a VERY powerful company. What would you have done?
I say it's one word it wont kill the song, I'm sure Brandin will be singing the word naked at live shows, better than no song at all.

Right Way To Fly isnt on the cd

Anyone else notice on the word Xenadrine typed on the cover? Hold the actual case, look to the left side where there is pictures of 4 people looking up (and smiley) typed to the left of it is the word Xenadrine (it also appears in the last cd in the thank you section)

Today is the day we've been waiting for...Welcoming Home the Astronauts is out in store nationwide so go pick up a copy. Here's a few things you should know when you get your cd:

Execution By Christmas Lights IS on the cd, it's not listed but it's the last track

The cd cover is different, there is a picture of a little kid on it, and on the back is a recent picture of the band

There is one word in Coke that is changed because of a certain small softdrink company

ENJOY!! and buy copies for all your friends and family for the holidays

Sorry for the lack of updates I'm currently in the middle of following a lil band (311, anyone ever hear of them!) and I'm not around a computer so the updates have been sparse. Keep an eye out for a neew look as the site goes through some changes. The album's release date has been changed to November 6 so everyone go out and get it! And to make up for my lack of updates I put up an mp3 of Chloroform from the Stone pony show in Asbury Park NJ. It is an audience recording, not 100% perfect but it's something.

I first off want to send all my thoughts and prayers out to the victims and families of todays violent attack against innocent Americans. I myself live in New Jersey and was 3 hours away from going to NYC to see Flickerstick, I have freinds that go to school in the city, and the company I work for has a store in the WTC in which a friend of mine works in. It's just a tragic day for us all.

Most of you may know the bands (Flickerstick and Doosu) were in NYC that day, I saw them last night (thankfully) in Asbury Park and talked to them about their experience. They were a mere 4 blocks away from the World Trade Center, they were awaken by the sound of the first plane attack. They ran outside to see what was going on. I think they saw the 2nd impact. Their hotel was evacuated and they literally were bands on the run. Can I say thank goodness both bands and all of their crew are okay.

On a lighter note, which is hard to come across right now, the show was great, I will be putting up a review and a little treat later on tonight.
