Dear Venesco LLC,

I learned of a web development position opening at your company on Indeed. I believe I would be a good fit for this position due to the skills and experience I learned in my technical high school and college courses. I have spent the past two years studying web development and design at the Center for Technology, Essex, and became a certified web designer at an associate level last year.

Throughout my time at CTE, I have learned many key aspects of Web Development and Design, including multiple coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, PHP, and SQL. We have also worked with many important practices, including responsive design, accessibility support following WCAG, UX-UI Design, and databases such as MySQL. We also made websites using content management services such as WordPress and Wix, so we could have experience creating industry-standard sites by hand-coding and with assistance from CMSs.

Last year, I participated in the SkillsUSA Web Development and Design competition, where my partner and I received second place in the state. I am also currently participating this year with a new partner.
