Travel Sectionhad to add a section on good travel resources...mmm
See the world, really! One of the coolest sites about this Lonely Planet for travelling resources.
Check out the Thomas Cook site to steal iteneraries and stuff so u can build ur own package. Although some of their stuff has excellent value. I sure would enjoy working for a travel agent company (of course if they paid as much as my current job does)
Travelocity shows you how to get there, where to go and how much it costs. Pretty comprehensive site, I figure this is the cheapest way to travel. Plus this way you dont have to do all the dirty work of finding out hotels etc. Two thumbs up.
The site for Hostelworld, its a good resource if ur young and still want to travel around. Excellent pricing so you can benchmark/budget quite close to actuals.
The site for Star Cruises, they offer fantastic cruises in South East Asia. It would have been very nice if they offered to book online for Indian citizens also. Its a shame they don't and the site isn't that great. However still an excellent budget cruise. I intend to go on one of these in the next two years.
Lastly, check out the world travellers community on Orkut.
