The first clan that Nyx traveled to was the Biyu, a group of large cats set in the Eade Jungle. When she arrived, their reaction was nothing but hostile. It was one panther that hushed the rest to try to hear her words over the others commotion, to give her a chance. Exhausted, Nyx told her story and begged for the help of someone to assist her in putting a stop to her brothers madness. The panther, unlike his fellow clan members who looked on in uneasiness, looked on with a stone set ambition. The panther offered his services to Nyx with a deep bow of his head and an oath from his heart to help her so his clan could live in peace, not the darkness that covered the lands. His name was Kane, the heir of the Biyu clan.

Nyx next traveled to the desert in search of the Udia, a pride of lions who had discovered a secret to living healthy and prosperous lives in the middle of the merciless Pyrois desert. Nyx and Kane arrived to once more angry yet confused faces. The dragon and the panther cast an uncomfortable feeling upon the Udia, an aged large male of the pride demanding a reason for their intrusion upon their home. Nyx began her story and spoke the same plea for help that she gave to the Biyu. Silence fell over the small group of desert cats and finally the male who had spoken upon their arrival stepped forward, chest held out proudly and chin lifted up. He offered his life to the dragon to help stop the darkness that was her brother. His name was Itzal, the King of the Udia.

The three then traveled to the valley located within the Arcelia valley. Nyx was closer to home then she'd ever been and now sought the help of the Thierri Herd of the Valley. Upon arrival, the three were treated with a great deal of caution and mixed emotions. The lead stallion, a large Unicorn named Aethelric, was everything the word Noble and Royalty defines. He viewed the predators with a turned up nose and even upon hearing the dragons plea for help, for the sake of Eilian as well as his herd and his family, Aethelric demanded the trio leave his lands or he would remove them by force. All three tried to reason with the Unicorn Stallion but the proud male wouldn't change his mind and until he threatened them the three didn't leave. Upon their slow trek out of the Arcelia Valley, a mare caught up with them, running like the wind. She offered her services, saying if Aethelric wouldn't fight for their lives, she would. Her name was Aella, and she was the lead mare of the Thierri Herd.

The last group the four visited was in the most northern portion of Eilian in the land of Uisnech. The last group was one all four knew very little of. There were legends of them being a barbaric collection of creatures that weren't 'all there'. They'd only heard vague stories of the Tirzah, a mysterious group that traveled the frozen lands of Uisnech. It took them awhile, and soon the four travelers began to feel it was hopeless and they'd simply go on alone, until at the last minute they came upon the nomadic tribe; or the tribe came upon them.

It was a wandering tribe made up mostly of females, the matron of the group was named Iza. She was an aging Mammoth, a large creature, one of the largest of the lands. Unlike the others however, who treated the small traveling group with distaste and caution, Iza welcomed them into her tribe with favor and happily listened to Nyx's tale and plea. The mammoth matron was deeply saddened by the tale and agreed that something had to be done but she herself was to far in her years to really assist the small gathering. A polar bear stepped forward, offering herself in place of her loving leader, vowing to do all she could possibly do. Her name was Sveta, and she was the Tirzah Shamaness.

As the group set out finally to make their way to locate Erebos, the Tirzah Matron bid the travelers fair well, blessing their travels and wishing them a victory. Into the winds she whispered, "Good luck to you, the Elders of the lands, the saviors of Eilian."
